Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase with Vanessa Alfaro Bridal & Couture, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth below.
Wedding Gowns — No Returns or Exchanges
All wedding gowns sold by Vanessa Alfaro Bridal & Couture are custom-made and made-to-order. All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations on any wedding gown purchase for any reason.
Each gown is individually designed, produced, and crafted specifically for the customer at the time of order. Because every gown is made exclusively for you — using your measurements, selected fabrics, and chosen design specifications — it cannot be resold, restocked, or reused once production has begun.
This policy applies to:
- All custom-designed wedding gowns
- All made-to-order wedding gowns
- All bespoke couture bridal gowns
- All ready-to-wear gowns ordered in your size
By placing an order for a wedding gown, you confirm that you have reviewed and approved all design details, measurements, and specifications prior to production, and that you understand and accept this no-return, no-exchange, no-cancellation policy in full.
Bridal Veils — No Returns or Exchanges
All bridal veils are custom-made by order. All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any veil purchase.
Bridal veils are produced individually upon order according to the style, length, fabric, and embellishment specifications selected at the time of purchase. As custom-made items, they cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged once production has commenced.
Headpieces & Jewelry — No Returns or Exchanges, Except for Defects
All headpieces and jewelry are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges, except in cases where an item arrives damaged, broken, or with a manufacturing defect.
Defective or Damaged Items — Headpieces & Jewelry Only
If you receive a headpiece or jewelry item that is:
- Broken upon arrival
- Structurally defective due to a manufacturing error
- Materially different from what was ordered as a result of our error
you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing to vanessa@vanessaalfarobridal.com the following:
- Your full name and order number
- A clear written description of the damage or defect
- A minimum of three (3) clear photographs documenting the damage or defect
- A photograph of the original packaging
Upon review and approval of your claim, we will, at our sole discretion, either:
- Replace the defective item at no charge, or
- Issue a store credit for the value of the item
We do not issue cash refunds on headpieces or jewelry under any circumstances. Claims submitted after 48 hours of confirmed delivery will not be accepted.
Normal wear, improper use, accidental damage after delivery, or dissatisfaction with style or appearance does not constitute a defect and will not be eligible for replacement or credit.
Order Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled once production has begun. For custom gowns, production typically begins within 5–7 business days of order confirmation. Cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Any approved cancellation prior to production commencement may be subject to a non-refundable design and consultation fee.
Important Sizing & Measurement Disclaimer
Vanessa Alfaro Bridal & Couture is not responsible for sizing discrepancies resulting from inaccurate measurements provided by the customer. We strongly recommend having your measurements taken by a professional. All measurement guides provided are for reference only. Any alterations required after delivery are the sole responsibility and expense of the customer.
